We are a friendly team with a Practice size of 9,500 patients; we like to provide a high level of customer service for all who visit the surgery. You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, good IT skills, understand the importance of confidentiality, take pride in your work and be a conscientious team player and will ideally have experience working in a similar role and have knowledge of EMIS.

You will work as part of a team supporting the GP’s with audio typing of referrals, answering phones and dealing with queries, alongside other administrative duties.

We are preferably looking for a couple of enthusiastic, motivated people who are well organised and have excellent communication skills. You will be (on a job share basis) required to work 37.5 hours per week during the following days/times:

Monday to Friday – 08:30 – 17:00 with 1 hour Lunch break. (Days/times will be flexible and agreed if 2 applicants are successful).

Dr J Lewis (m)

Dr J M Lewis (GMC 3007873) is the senior partner and qualified MB ChB in 1984 (Bristol), and he later became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Dr Lewis is interested in all aspects of family medicine from paediatrics, through family planning, to care of the elderly. He is also honorary senior tutor and the local organiser for medical students from St George’s Medical School.

Dr R Wright (m)

Dr R E P Wright (GMC 3497067) qualified MBBS (London) in 1990 and has been with the practice since 1995. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and an approved trainer of GPs. He is interested in all aspects of family medicine with a special interest in heart disease.

Dr P Hamilton (m)

Dr P G Hamilton (GMC 4096656) qualified B.Med.Sci in 1992 and BM BS in 1994 (both in Nottingham). He completed his post-graduate vocational training scheme in Hastings in 1998 and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is a registered trainer of GPs. He is interested in all areas of family medicine and is the Clinical Mental Health lead for East Surrey CCG.

Dr K Teasdale (f)

Dr Teasdale (GMC 3549744) qualified MBBS (London) in 1991 and joined the practice in April 2017.  She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.  Dr Teasdale is interested in all areas of family medicine. Dr Teasdale is able to fit contraceptive coils and is leading on prescribing and women's health for the practice.
